E X P E R T I S E
Sensing that adds no thickness to the seat.
nanomade develops piezoresistive thin-film force sensors deposited onto flexible substrates — sub-millimetre stacks that behave on curved, soft, high-cycle surfaces where conventional load cells cannot go. Multi-point arrays resolve posture, load distribution and micro-movement, supported by front-end electronics and calibration methods that keep readings stable across temperature and service life.

R O L E I N H A P S E A T
Making the seat surface the primary sensor.
nanomade delivers the sensing layer of the HAPSEAT closed loop:
instrumented cushions and backrests, array geometries matched to seat zones, and the calibration work that determines the raw signal quality every downstream stage depends on. The team also supports the humanfactors studies with measurement and data-quality guidance.

If the sensing layer changes how the seat feels, it has already failed. It has to be invisible to the body and obvious to the software.
